I’m Jenn Bartell! I have been a family and children’s lifestyle photographer for over 10 years. Even as a small child I was infatuated with cameras. I always knew I wanted to be a photographer and followed that dream as I grew up. I attended a high school out of district because of their visual and performing arts program and furthered my education by attending Brooks Institute of Photography where I received my BA in commercial advertising photography. Documenting the chaos of our three kiddos growing up here in East Sacramento has been my greatest joy so far.

MOMENT ANTICIPATION
Have you ever looked through images and wondered, how did they capture that moment at just the perfect time.… ? Moment Anticipation is probably one of the most overlooked techniques but can be so useful when photographing children. Join me for my course in the Call Me Artist online retreat to learn how to capture those perfect moments on camera by preparing yourself to anticipate the sweet, the joyful, the busy everyday moments you want to remember. During this video course we will cover how to be prepared technically, how to anticipate and capture better everyday images of your kids, learn your environment and what to do if you miss a moment.
