NICOLE WANG

My name is Nicole Wang. I live in Oregon with my husband and 2 kids. I was born in China and moved to the states with my husband about 14 years ago. I’m a full time medical physician working in a hospital and a hobbyist photographer.

My life had been like a roller coaster ride, education, marriage, moving to a whole new county, hardcore training, kids – those ' milestones' were so packed that I felt like running a marathon gasping for air till 2015, when my son turned to 1 year old. I upgraded my camera, started taking classes, slowed down to observe the world with totally new perspectives. Then I began to document my daily life through the lens. It was exhausting, time consuming but profoundly entertaining, reflecting, and enlightening for me as a full time working mom. That was where the journey of personal fulfillment began and in the past  few years this journey has been a most enjoyable one! Naturally I bought more lenses, my skills have been steadily improving, and I found my interest in photography genres. I consider myself as a lifestyle children photographer and a fine art macro photographer.
